About Vanguard Swimming · Guangzhou, China · Est. 1993
Guangzhou Vanguard WaterSports Products Co., Ltd. is an integrated trade-and-manufacturing watersports factory: own factory, own brands, own R&D. From a 1983 hardware workshop to 27,824 m² of production space, one partner for your goggles, masks, fins, caps, and swimwear, from first prototype to full container.
Vanguard Swimming is the operating brand of Guangzhou Vanguard WaterSports Products Co., Ltd. (广州前锋水用品有限公司), formally established in 1993. Our story starts earlier: in 1983, our founder opened a hardware parts workshop, and in 1990 the Guangzhou factory was formally set up. That tooling DNA still shows: we machine our own molds, run our own production lines, and sell through our own export department.
The company operates as a fully integrated trade-and-manufacturing business: own factory, own brands, own R&D. Two production bases, Qingyuan (Qingyuan TianKui Sports, since 2014) and Huadu (Guangzhou Shengfeng, since 1994), back the headquarters at No.9-15 Hou Wang Miao Street, Haizhu District, Guangzhou. Since 2001, our Hong Kong entity VASEN International Ltd. has carried the WAVE brand into overseas markets.
For buyers, the structure has one practical meaning: you deal directly with the factory’s own sales engineers. No middleman, no margin stacking, no information loss between your spec sheet and the production floor.
On the trade show circuit since 2006
We have exhibited at the Canton Fair every session since 2006 without a single absence, and in 2019 alone attended 9 overseas trade shows. Meet us at the booth, or schedule a factory visit.

Four decades of steady growth. Every milestone below is a factory decision: a new base, a new patent, a new market.
Our predecessor is founded as a hardware parts factory, building the tooling skills that still anchor our in-house mold making.
The production facility in Guangzhou is formally set up, moving the business from parts machining into finished watersports products.
Guangzhou Vanguard WaterSports Products Co., Ltd. is formally incorporated, the official founding year of Vanguard Swimming.
Guangzhou Shengfeng opens in Huadu District, expanding molding and assembly capacity beyond the city center.
VASEN International Ltd. is incorporated in Hong Kong and the WAVE brand is registered overseas, launching our own-brand export business.
We exhibit at the China Import and Export Fair for the first time, with a 10-brand booth presence. We have not missed a session since.
For seven consecutive years, this factory serves as a production partner to one of the most audit-heavy international competitive swimwear brands, delivering more than 100 containers per year while passing annual factory audits and never missing a vessel.
Qingyuan TianKui Sports opens, bringing the group to 27,824 m² of production space across two bases.
The M-1502 full-face snorkeling mask launches with proprietary patent protection, the output of our 15-engineer R&D team.
A single order of 50,000 units of the M-1502 lands on the production floor, and our team attends 9 overseas trade shows in one year.
Our long-blade freediving fins platform is introduced for the fast-growing freediving and spearfishing markets.
The F-6877 carbon fiber freediving fins ship, moving Vanguard into high-performance composite watersports gear.
Factory capability
Across the Qingyuan and Huadu bases, every core process stays inside our walls: injection molding, vacuum forming, high-frequency welding, and a full apparel workshop. That is how we hold tight dimensional control on goggle lenses and consistent stitching across 50,000-unit runs.
