Diving Equipment · Snorkel manufacturer & OEM factory since 1993
Vanguard manufactures dry-top, semi-dry, and classic J-tube snorkels for dive brands, e-commerce sellers, and rental operators. Sealed float valves, one-way purge drains, and food-grade silicone mouthpieces, all private labeled to your spec from 300 pcs per color.

The S-6153 is the dry-top snorkel our buyers reorder most. A float valve seals the bore the instant the top goes under, a purge valve clears what little water reaches the mouthpiece, and a food-grade silicone bite keeps jaws comfortable through a full session. Every valve, barrel, and mouthpiece is molded and assembled inside our Guangzhou factory.
A buoyant float rides inside the top housing and lifts to plug the bore when the snorkel submerges. No water enters while a snorkeler floats face down, which is the single feature beginners and tour operators ask for by name. Because the housing and float are molded in-house, the seal tolerance stays consistent from unit to unit instead of varying batch to batch.
A silicone one-way valve sits at the lowest point of the bore, below the mouthpiece. A sharp exhale pushes water straight out instead of back up the tube, so the snorkel clears in one breath. For your customers that means less panic and fewer swallowed mouthfuls, and for you it means fewer returns blamed on a snorkel that will not clear.
The mouthpiece is molded from food-grade silicone that meets FDA requirements: soft on the gums, odor-free, and safe for hours of use. A tuned bite flange holds the seal without forcing the jaw open, which is the difference between a snorkel a customer uses all holiday and one that goes back in the bag after ten minutes.
The PVC barrel is sized for an internal bore that balances low breathing resistance against easy water clearing. Too narrow and breathing feels restricted; too wide and the purge valve cannot move the water column. We hold the bore diameter to spec on every model so adults breathe easily and the purge still works on the first exhale.
Dry-top for volume sellers, semi-dry and classic J-tube for performance and choppy-water buyers, and youth models sized for junior programs. All three share the same food-grade silicone mouthpiece platform, the same QC standard, and the same 300-pcs-per-color MOQ.

The S-6153, S-6188D, and S-6151. A sealed float valve keeps the bore dry on submersion and a one-way purge clears water fast. The flagship your beginner and tour-operator buyers ask for by name, and the model that turns over the highest volume on most retail walls.

The S-6185 and S-6184. A semi-dry splash guard and purge valve suit choppy conditions, while a classic J-tube drops the valve entirely for minimum breathing resistance. The right pairing for freedivers and experienced snorkelers who want less hardware in the airflow path.

The S-6183 and S-6170. A smaller bore and shorter barrel matched to younger lungs, with the same food-grade silicone mouthpiece as the adult line. Sized for kids programs, rental fleets, and family retail sets.
Valve & bore engineering
Valve design decides the three numbers your buyers compare on every listing: how much water gets in, how fast it clears, and how hard the snorkeler has to breathe. Here is how our three platforms stack up, and where each one earns its place on your shelf.
A dry-top snorkel only works if the float seats cleanly every time it rises. Ours fails on tolerance, not luck: the housing bore and float diameter are molded to a tight fit so the valve plugs the tube without sticking or leaking past. Ask any snorkel supplier how they hold the float seal tolerance; the answer tells you who you are really buying from.
A purge valve only clears water if it sits below the mouthpiece at the lowest point of the bore. Place it too high and water pools underneath; size it too small and a single exhale will not move the column. We position and size the silicone one-way valve so the snorkel empties on the first sharp breath, which is exactly what a nervous beginner needs.
A wider bore lowers breathing resistance but raises the water volume the purge has to move; a narrower bore clears easily but feels restricted. We tune the internal bore diameter per model so adults get easy airflow and the purge still works, and we size youth barrels down to match smaller lung capacity. Custom programs can spec their own bore within that range.
| Factor | Dry-top (S-6153) | Semi-dry (S-6185) | Classic J-tube |
|---|---|---|---|
| Water sealing | Float valve seals the bore on submersion | Splash guard deflects surface spray | Open top, no sealing |
| Purge valve | One-way drain at the base | One-way drain at the base | None, cleared by exhale |
| Breathing resistance | Low, tuned bore | Low, tuned bore | Lowest, straight airflow |
| Best use | Beginners, tours, surface snorkeling | Choppy water, boat diving | Freediving, lap snorkeling |
| Unit price | Mid tier | Mid tier | Budget-friendly |
| Best channel | Retail, rental fleets, tour operators | Dive shops, resorts | Freediving clubs, schools |
Not sure which platform fits your channel? Ask our engineers for a recommendation with your quote, because most programs stock a dry-top and a J-tube together.
From 300 pcs per color, we turn your spec sheet into retail-ready snorkels. Logo printing, barrel and mouthpiece colors, valve spec, and packaging all happen inside our 27,824 m² Guangzhou facility, managed by a 123-person team with 15 dedicated R&D engineers.
Logo printing on the barrel and mouthpiece, Pantone color matching, and custom finishes that make your snorkels recognizable on a retail wall or in a listing image, with no risk of fading.
Printed retail boxes, mesh bags, and FBA-ready cartons with batch-traceable labeling. Everything is packed the way your channel requires, not the way our warehouse prefers.
Barrel length and bore diameter, float valve spec, and mouthpiece color matched to your market, from youth to adult sizing, all molded in-house on our own tooling for consistent fit across reorders.
Every batch inspected under our ISO 9001:2015 system, with pre-shipment inspection by SGS, Intertek, TUV, or your nominated third party arranged on request.
Custom molds and artwork are exchanged only under a signed NDA, stored separately, and never shared with or resold to another buyer. Your private label stays yours. That is the whole point. Pair snorkels with masks and fins from the same factory for a consolidated diving equipment program.
