The S-6153 Dry-Top, Sealed Against Every Wave

The S-6153 is the dry-top snorkel our buyers reorder most. A float valve seals the bore the instant the top goes under, a purge valve clears what little water reaches the mouthpiece, and a food-grade silicone bite keeps jaws comfortable through a full session. Every valve, barrel, and mouthpiece is molded and assembled inside our Guangzhou factory.

01

Sealed Dry-Top Float Valve

A buoyant float rides inside the top housing and lifts to plug the bore when the snorkel submerges. No water enters while a snorkeler floats face down, which is the single feature beginners and tour operators ask for by name. Because the housing and float are molded in-house, the seal tolerance stays consistent from unit to unit instead of varying batch to batch.

02

One-Way Purge Drain Valve

A silicone one-way valve sits at the lowest point of the bore, below the mouthpiece. A sharp exhale pushes water straight out instead of back up the tube, so the snorkel clears in one breath. For your customers that means less panic and fewer swallowed mouthfuls, and for you it means fewer returns blamed on a snorkel that will not clear.

03

Food-Grade Silicone Mouthpiece

The mouthpiece is molded from food-grade silicone that meets FDA requirements: soft on the gums, odor-free, and safe for hours of use. A tuned bite flange holds the seal without forcing the jaw open, which is the difference between a snorkel a customer uses all holiday and one that goes back in the bag after ten minutes.

04

Tuned Bore Diameter

The PVC barrel is sized for an internal bore that balances low breathing resistance against easy water clearing. Too narrow and breathing feels restricted; too wide and the purge valve cannot move the water column. We hold the bore diameter to spec on every model so adults breathe easily and the purge still works on the first exhale.

The S-6153 dry-top and the S-6185 semi-dry share the same mouthpiece tooling and barrel platform, so a mixed program keeps spare mouthpieces and fittings compatible across both models.

Three Snorkel Programs, One Diving Equipment Factory

Dry-top for volume sellers, semi-dry and classic J-tube for performance and choppy-water buyers, and youth models sized for junior programs. All three share the same food-grade silicone mouthpiece platform, the same QC standard, and the same 300-pcs-per-color MOQ.

Semi-Dry & J-Tube Snorkels

The S-6185 and S-6184. A semi-dry splash guard and purge valve suit choppy conditions, while a classic J-tube drops the valve entirely for minimum breathing resistance. The right pairing for freedivers and experienced snorkelers who want less hardware in the airflow path.

Valve & bore engineering

Dry-Top vs. Semi-Dry vs. Classic J-Tube: Spec the Right Snorkel

Valve design decides the three numbers your buyers compare on every listing: how much water gets in, how fast it clears, and how hard the snorkeler has to breathe. Here is how our three platforms stack up, and where each one earns its place on your shelf.

01

The float valve seal is the real dry spec

A dry-top snorkel only works if the float seats cleanly every time it rises. Ours fails on tolerance, not luck: the housing bore and float diameter are molded to a tight fit so the valve plugs the tube without sticking or leaking past. Ask any snorkel supplier how they hold the float seal tolerance; the answer tells you who you are really buying from.

02

Purge placement decides clearing speed

A purge valve only clears water if it sits below the mouthpiece at the lowest point of the bore. Place it too high and water pools underneath; size it too small and a single exhale will not move the column. We position and size the silicone one-way valve so the snorkel empties on the first sharp breath, which is exactly what a nervous beginner needs.

03

Bore diameter trades drag against clearing

A wider bore lowers breathing resistance but raises the water volume the purge has to move; a narrower bore clears easily but feels restricted. We tune the internal bore diameter per model so adults get easy airflow and the purge still works, and we size youth barrels down to match smaller lung capacity. Custom programs can spec their own bore within that range.

What Snorkel Buyers Ask Us First

Still have questions?

Send your target models, quantities, and valve spec. Our export team replies with pricing, MOQ, and lead time within one business day.

What is the minimum order quantity for custom snorkels?
Custom snorkels start at 300 pcs per color, including your logo printing, barrel and mouthpiece colors, and packaging. Ready-to-ship stock snorkels carry no minimum and can be ordered from 1 pc, which lets a shop or dive operator test a SKU before committing to a full production run.
Can you put our logo on the snorkel and packaging?
Yes. Private label covers logo printing on the barrel and mouthpiece, Pantone color matching, and retail-ready packaging such as printed boxes, mesh bags, or FBA-ready cartons. Everything runs in-house at our Guangzhou factory under a signed NDA, and your molds and artwork are never shared with another buyer.
What materials are your snorkels made from?
The mouthpiece is food-grade silicone that meets FDA requirements, soft on the jaw and safe for extended use. The barrel is PVC tuned for a smooth internal bore, and the dry-top housing and float valve are polycarbonate and ABS for impact resistance and a reliable seal. Material test reports are available per batch.
Which certifications do your snorkels carry for US and EU import?
Snorkels are produced under our ISO 9001:2015 quality system with BSCI audits, and materials carry CE and FDA documentation, with the food-grade silicone mouthpiece being skin-contact safe. Additional SGS, Intertek, or TUV test reports can be arranged with batch-traceable references for retail onboarding.
How long do samples and production take?
Stock samples ship in 2 to 7 days. Custom samples with your logo, colors, and valve spec take 7 to 15 days. First production orders run 30 to 45 days depending on quantity; reorders complete in about 30 days because molds and color recipes are already on file. Stock SKUs leave our Guangzhou warehouse within 48 hours.
What is the difference between dry-top, semi-dry, and classic snorkels?
A dry-top snorkel like our S-6153 uses a float valve that seals the bore when submerged, keeping water out entirely, the right call for beginners and surface snorkeling. A semi-dry model such as the S-6185 adds a splash guard and purge valve for choppy conditions. A classic J-tube has no valve, favored by freedivers who want minimum breathing resistance. Most buyers stock a dry-top as the volume seller and a J-tube as the performance option.
